I hope you’ve had a blessed Easter and enjoyed the time with your families celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
But the gun-grabbers are resurrecting their ‘Assault Weapons’ ban, so tonight I’m naming the names that need to be named.
Last week, Chris told you about the biggest backstabber in the House Republican Conference in Congress (Pennsylvania’s Brian Fitzpatrick) and how close he and his Democrat friends on the Radical Left are to forcing a vote on Joe Biden’s Assault Weapons Ban, H.R. 698.
But what if I told you there were more Benedict Arnolds roaming around the halls of Congress – likely a dozen or more?
It may be a swamp in DC, but they are easy to spot.
They stick out like a sore thumb because there have been numerous gun-control votes in Congress over the last couple of years, and we track these votes and cosponsor records closely so that we can tell voters at election time!
Here are the names of Republicans who have stabbed you and me in the back when it comes to our Second Amendment:
- Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01)
- Dave Joyce (OH-14)
- Mike Turner (OH-10)
- Vern Buchanan (FL-16)
- Andrew Garbarino (NY-02)
- Carlos Gimenez (FL-28)
- Maria Salazar (FL-27)
- Chris Smith (NJ-04)
- Tony Gonzales (TX-23)
- Brian Mast (FL-21)
- Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-26)
- Don Bacon (NE-02)
Every name on this list is a politician who voted for or co-sponsored gun control legislation.
And every damn one of them deserves to pay a political price for their treachery.
They’ve voted for Michael Bloomberg’s Universal Gun Registration, or supported a ban on so-called “Assault Weapons,” they’ve voted to raise the age to purchase firearms by legal adults, or they’ve voted for or sponsored bills that create a national Red Flag Gun Confiscation law, they’ve supported ending the private sale and ownership of firearms… I could go on and on and on.
Friend, these politicians are still lurking the halls of Congress as “Republicans,” just waiting to stab us in the back.
And this does not even include the 40 new Republican members of Congress who were just elected last November who do not have a record on our gun rights yet!
So when I say this is an all hands on deck situation – I mean it.
Let’s face it, gun control that has not passed through Congress without Republican support.
It’s happened last summer and it’ll happen again right now if we don’t act!
Don’t forget, Republicans control the US House of Representatives by a vote of 222 Republicans to 213 Democrats, meaning that the Democrats only need FIVE Benedict Arnolds to get the votes to outlaw ‘Assault Weapons!’
And with the amount of betrayal to gun owners lately, I know and you know that it is a strong possibility.
So please take action right away and then chip in at least $17.76 NOW to help us FIGHT BACK!
